Important Tips for Tattoo Aftercare

Here's how we help you care for your tattoo after it's completed. Read below for a few tips on how to take care of your tattoo once you leave our shop.

• First and foremost, it's important to wait for 5 to 10 minutes after the tattoo is done to let it stop bleeding.

• Once it's stopped bleeding, we'll clean the tattoo carefully and apply recovery to it. We recommend bandaging it for added protection.

• We also recommend cleaning the tattoo properly and leaving the recovery on for a couple of days.

•  When you're ready to remove it, use mild and warm water to bathe and keep the pores closed.

• Avoid swimming in ocean lakes and rivers, and refrain from any harsh sweating, such as saunas or intense workouts.

• For added protection, we recommend using Aquaphor.
